Maunsel House is licensed for civil ceremonies in our glorious ballroom or in our wisteria garlanded gazebo and elegant bandstand. Every detail can be organised for you, all you need to do is book a date with the registrar and let us take care of the rest.
Church Services
Within the Maunsel Estate is St Michael Church in walking distance from the house for which Sir Benjamin Slade Bt. has the gift of the living. It is an enchanting Candlelit Saxon Chapel and is one of the smallest churches in England with seating for up to 50 people.
Within the Parish there are two other Church of England churches, St Peter's in North Newton seats up to 150 and The Minster Church, St. Mary the virgin in North Petherton seats up to 350, which we are able to use and is only a five or six minute drive from the house. We are blessed with so many beautiful churches and other places of worship in this area you could follow your service by holding your wedding reception here at the house.
