Our Pergola is a great alternative to the House for functions. Your guests will be seated amidst a colourful array of scented flowers from Roses and Jasmine to Honeysuckle and Wisteria. Our beautiful Dovecote with our fantailed doves and peacocks watch over your celebrations. Set in the original walled kitchen garden surrounded by the pretty orchard and one hundred year old Magnolia Tree, overlooking our rare-breed chicken pen and Kirsty's newly designed 120 foot border, it provides a secluded haven with space for 150 guests.
The Bandstand is now licensed for civil ceremonies.

St Michael Church
St Michael Church, an enchanting candlelit Saxon church and resting place of many of the Slade Family, is also available for your wedding. Situated within the Maunsel Estate it is one of the smallest churches in England, with seating for only 40-50 people.
Beautiful Yew trees line the walkway as you approached and from the rear of the church there are views of one of our lakes. With its Norman Tower and stained glass windows it provides a romantic setting for your vows before your wedding breakfast and reception in the main house. On a hot summers afternoon you and your guests can even walk to the celebrations.
